1. Quotation Validity

Quotation Validity Period

All quotations provided by Sam Taylor Carpentry are valid

for a period of three (3) months from the date of issue. After this time,

prices, availability of materials, or scheduling may change, and a new

quotation may be required.

2. Payment Terms (Deposit & Final Balance)

Deposit and Final Payment

To secure your order and begin production, a 70% deposit is

required upon confirmation of your final design and quotation. This deposit

covers the cost of custom materials, planning, and production. The remaining

30% is payable upon completion of the installation.

Should you wish to cancel after placing your order,

cancellation charges may apply to cover any costs incurred to date. Full

details of these charges will be provided upon request.

3. Storage Charges

Storage Fees for Delayed Installations

We understand that sometimes project timelines change. If

installation is delayed by more than six weeks after your order is

ready—through no fault of Sam Taylor Carpentry—a storage fee of £25 per week

will be applied to cover the costs of safely holding your goods.

We will always notify you before these charges begin and

will work with you to reschedule the installation where possible.

4. Stone Worktops

Stone Worktop Templating and Installation

Stone worktops are made to measure and can only be templated

once:

• All base units are installed, fixed, and level
• The undermount sink is fully installed in its final position

2 weeks lead time for all slabs in the core range to be delivered to my fabricator once the deposit has been paid, a further 4 weeks lead time after templating to allow for fabrication and shipping

Delays caused by incomplete site preparation may result in

additional call-out charges.

5. Third-Party Delivery Liability

Third-Party Couriers and Delivery Partners

While we take care to select reliable logistics partners,

Sam Taylor Carpentry is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by

third-party couriers.

However, we will assist you in pursuing claims with the

delivery provider, where applicable, and we will ensure items are properly

packaged and documented before dispatch.

6. Bedroom Furniture and Flooring

Fitted Bedroom Furniture and Carpet

To ensure a precise installation, carpet must be cut back or

installed only after bedroom furniture is fitted. If carpet has already been

laid, Sam Taylor Carpentry cannot accept responsibility for any cutting, damage,

or finishing required.

7. Cancellation Policy

Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order within 14 calendar days of placing

it, unless production or installation has already started with your consent. If

work has commenced, charges may apply based on time and materials used to date.

Bespoke or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once

manufacturing has begun, unless faulty.

8. Design Ownership

Ownership of Designs and Illustrations

All drawings, illustrations, plans, and design concepts

produced by Sam Taylor Carpentry remain our intellectual property and may not

be copied, reproduced, or used elsewhere without our written consent.

Full ownership of design materials will only pass to the

client once full payment has been received.
